Adding and removing assets with Nimbus Engineer

Assets can be added to a ToC via Nimbus Engineer, but only where a ToC has already been created by upload to the Nimbus Web Portal.

Creating or removing an asset

Find your equipment

Using the sites card on the app home page, find the relevant site/equipment and select "Service".

If your site/equipment has an address configured in the Web Portal, Engineer App will match it to your location.

 

Start or view service

Once the equipment is selected, you can either view a previous service or start a new one. Either of these options will allow you to add an asset to the ToC.

 

Adding an asset

When presented with the list of devices, navigate to Menu at the bottom of the screen and select Add asset.

Populate asset details as required and click Save.

If you are replacing an existing asset, you should add a new asset and assign a new Barcode or QR code (if applicable), then select the asset that it is replacing.

 

Removing an asset

When presented with the list of devices, click the relevant asset, select edit details and Remove asset.

 

How removed assets shows in Nimbus

  • The removed asset will show in the ToC via view ToC page but with a strike through.
  • On the servicing report:
    • If not tested it won't be shown at all.
    • If tested then it will be shown with the result but with a strike through.
    • Won't be included in any of the servicing figures at the top.
