Configuring Nimbus Notify App

Overview

Nimbus Notify App can be configured in app or via the Web Portal by users with the "Manage" permission.

Please note: Settings apply to the device or app installation, not the user account.

Configuring via the Web Portal

Notify App settings can be managed by Nimbus, which will take precedence over the settings configured in the App, with the existing local settings overwritten.

To manage the settings via Nimbus, find the instance of the App via the Manage page, highlight it so the instance turns orange, and then click the Spanner icon to access the App Settings: 

 

The Settings in the resulting screen are the same as those found within the App.

Clicking 'Override Device Settings' will save the settings for the App, the App use these settings next time it is run (or when the phone is woke up if its already running and on the Messages page).

Once the settings have been set in Nimbus the settings cannot be edited in the App even if you are logged in as a Manager, in order to edit the settings in the app again you must Reset Settings in Nimbus and then refresh the app.
