Connect/Gateway panel guide: Advanced MxPro 4/5
Overview
For networks, it is recommended to install against an Advanced BMS Interface. In the event an Advanced network reaches a high threshold of events, the printer port output may not be reliable. Fire Alarm events have output priority over Fault or other events.
Equipment required
From Nimbus

Panel configuration
Configure according to the installation method.
Printer port installations

Set baud rate to 9600 and frame to 8N1
- Navigate to Menu > Tools > Print > Setup-Printer and configure as follows.
MxPro 5 only:
Using the Advanced software, ensure "Monitored Link" (printer port monitoring) is DISABLED under the Printer Options.
On networks only, check Print From Node is enabled on all nodes to receive Enablement/Fault clear events.
BMS Interface installations

Set the panels baud rate to 38400 and frame to 8N1.

Ensure the panel is not in commissioning mode.

Ensure the BMS Interface Test Switch is in the off position.
