Connect/Gateway panel guide: EMS IRIS+

Equipment required

• A Nimbus Connect or Fixed Gateway device

Panel configuration

The IRIS should be configured with a pager output.

To configure:

1. Enter the main menu
2. Navigate to "Pager Setup" and select "Add Pager"
3. Enter an appropriate "Pager ID"
   
   
   
   
4. Under Pager Type, select "Alpha - 80"
   
   
   
   
5. Under Buzzer Type, select "Buzzer A"
   
   
   
   
6. Once the Pager is added, select Transmitter Setup and change Type from "Not Used" to "A-Type"

Using 3 core screened data cable wire from the page RS232 to Nimbus as follows.
