Control Room Monitor (CRM) technical guide
Security
CRM communicates securely with Nimbus servers via dual client/issuer certificate authentication and Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 encryption.
CRM network access can be restricted down to IP address and ports. See below for network requirements.
Standalone PC installation
CRM is remotely installed by Nimbus on to a client supplied PC. This configuration is suitable for single licenses as it does not support additional network CRM clients.

- 16GB RAM
- 500GB of available HDD space
Network requirements
- Requires access to ports 5443 and 443 on IP address 54.194.249.214
Network layout
Client & server installation
Server components for CRM are remotely installed by Nimbus on to a user supplied server. The CRM Client application is supplied as an .exe file for installation by local IT administrators onto client PCs.

- 500GB of available HDD space
Client PC minimum specification
- Windows 10
Network requirements
- The server requires access to ports 5443 and 443 on IP address 54.194.249.214
- Each client PC requires access to the server via port 276
- Each client PC requires access to port 443 on IP address 54.194.249.214
Network layout
To install CRM, Nimbus requires remote access via TeamViewer and administrative privileges. These are not required during normal operation.
