Configuring the schedule
Scheduling mode [1]
This screen lets choose between automatic (default) or manual scheduling. Under the automatic scheduling you have the option to set the number of devices to be tested each week.
Auto reset to Live [2]
The Weekly Test App automatically switches the Fixed Gateway from Live mode to Weekly Test mode and then back to Live mode after completing the weekly testing. Available in both automatic and manual modes, this feature prevents the Fixed Gateway from being left indefinitely in Weekly Test mode should the user forget to complete the processes within the Weekly Test app.
In both modes the default period set is 2 hours but is configurable based on the sites requirements.
Automatic Scheduling (Default)
In automatic mode, 1 device is already selected under the [Devices to test each week] field. The means Nimbus will select a single untested device at random for the user to test in the Nimbus Weekly Test App.
Note:
- The device prompted any call points or selected device type that haven't yet been tested.
- If all your devices have been tested previously, the App will randomly select a device for re-testing.
Manual Scheduling
In Manual scheduling mode you get full control over your schedule. You can repeat a device every week, or add a device to one or more weeks in the weekly test period.
The device list displays provides great flexibility to find and bulk edit your scheduling

Devices Manual Schedule - In manual mode, every device can manually scheduled for testing.
By Default, Manual Call Points are displayed for scheduling, but if Inputs and Detectors are included in the initial Weekly Testing settings, then they will appear in the device list. The list of Devices can be filtered, by Panel, Address, Zone, Description and Device Type, allowing devices to be selected from that category ( such as all devices in a specific Zone ).
A device can be scheduled for testing on the following occasions:
- Never (Indicated by a "-" in the Weeks Column). Note: You will need to manually include all Call Points in the schedule, to remain compliant. Nimbus does not automatically add MCP's to the schedule when in Manual mode.
- Every week.
- A specific week number or multiple weeks.
The week number corresponds to the week number since your service period started, not the week of the year. An information text at the bottom of the table indicates your service period start date and the current week number.
Week number from the service period start date.
Devices can be added to the schedule on multiple weeks. Hold down the 'Ctrl' key to select multiple weeks and assign the device to those weeks.
Selecting a device, or devices, and clicking the "Remove from Schedule" button, sets the device(s) to 'Never' (-) scheduled. An error will be displayed if call points are now not included in the schedule.
'View Schedule' displays the schedule of testing. If less than 52 weeks are defined in the schedule, the schedule will repeat, which is illustrated by subsequent weeks being highlighted in blue.
