Using Nimbus Notify App

Overview

Nimbus Notify is available on both Android and iOS.

User credentials will only work on one app instance at a time. If you are logged in on a device, and attempt to login on another, you will be presented with a message confirming to disconnect your other session(s) before logging in.

The notifications screen

After successfully signing in, you arrive on the notifications list screen. It will contain any previously uncleared events and all notifications sent to your user.

[1] Type of event and mode, such as Live, Service and Weekly Test

[2] Device information, such as Site Name, Zone and Description

[3] Date and Time of Event



Acknowledging and clearing events

  1. If no-one else has acknowledged the event yet, you will be able to do this by selecting Acknowledge [1] at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Once an event has been acknowledged, it becomes possible to add comments to the event. This can be completed by selecting comment [2] and adding a note.
  3. The event can now be cleared by selecting [3], then a reason from common categories and to add a text comment. A user can clear an event acknowledged by another user.
  4. This notification will then clear from everyone's app, any notes regarding this will then be available via the Web Portal.

Note: you can also clear acknowledged events en masse by selecting the hamburger menu (iOS) or the ellipsis (Android) and selecting "Clear Events".
