nimbusGo panel guide: Morley ZX
Networked systems and node numbers
nimbusGo works with both standalone and networked Morley ZX fire alarm systems. For networked setups, connect nimbusGo to the master panel and enter the node number into the Nimbus Web Portal under Equipment Parameters.
Equipment required
From Nimbus
- A nimbusGo device connected to Nimbus Engineer App.
- A 2M Adapter Lead (part no 201-101-01).
- A Morley ZX Panel Adapter (part no 201-107-01) if connecting to the mainboard or a Multi Panel (TX, RX, GND) Panel Adapter (part no 201-104-01) if connecting to the RS232 card.
From the panel manufacturer/3rd party
- A Morley RS232 card (if not connecting via the mainboard).
Panel configuration
- Press Menu
- Select 6 Print
- Select 3 mode
- Select "-"
Note: if the "Mode" is set to either Auto or Manual, no panel data will be sent to Nimbus. Where connecting via the programming header, also ensure the printer is disabled.
The panel will not output events to Nimbus while in commissioning mode.
Panel connection
Connect nimbusGo to the Morley ZX programming header using the Morley ZX Panel Adapter or to the RS232 card using the Multi Panel (TX, RX, GND) Panel Adapter.
You will now see the panel LED on nimbusGo turn green, and "good" panel comms will be indicated in Nimbus Engineer.
