nimbusGo panel guide: Tyco Fireclass/MX/MZX/Zettler
Equipment required
From Nimbus
- A nimbusGo device connected to Nimbus Engineer App.
- A 2M Adapter Lead (part no 201-101-01).
- A Tyco MX, MZX & Fireclass Panel Adapter (part no 201-108-01).
From the panel manufacturer/3rd party
- Consys v25.0 or later.
Panel configuration
- Set the panel baud rate to 9600
- Set Comm Port 1 to Printer or TPI mode
- When configured as a printer, comm 1 outputs 2 lines of ASCII data
- When configured as a TPI, comm port 1 outputs 3 lines of ASCII data
- Ensure Paper Width is set to Standard (80)
- Enable Quiescent Logging
The configured mode must match that of the equipment in the Nimbus Web Portal to enable communications.
Panel connection
Connect nimbusGo to the RS232 connections on the interface via the 2M Adapter Lead and Tyco MX, MZX & Fireclass Panel Adapter.
You will now see the panel LED on nimbusGo turn green, and "good" panel comms will be indicated in Nimbus Engineer.
