nimbusGo panel guide: Tyco Fireclass/MX/MZX/Zettler
Equipment required
From Nimbus
- A nimbusGo device connected to Nimbus Engineer App.
- A 2M Adapter Lead (part no 201-101-01).
- A Tyco MX, MZX & Fireclass Panel Adapter (part no 201-108-01).

Panel configuration
Set the panel baud rate to 4800.
The communications port is enabled and configured within the Express Set Up file. The comm port can be configured as a PRINTER or TPI port.
PRINTER
The printer port outputs 2 lines of ASCII data
THIRD PARTY INTERFACE (TPI)
The TPI port outputs 3 lines of ASCII data including Category and No.
The TPI communications also includes a heartbeat to enable communications path monitoring.
The Equipment requires the correct Mode assigned in the Edit Site page in Nimbus.
Panel connection
Connect nimbusGo to the RS232 connections on the interface via the 2M Adapter Lead and Tyco MX, MZX & Fireclass Panel Adapter.
You will now see the panel LED on nimbusGo turn green, and "good" panel comms will be indicated in Nimbus Engineer.
